BIOGRAPHY
Over the past few years Dave Stapleton written music for a number of short films and animations by some of Wales leading film makers and animators including Matt Brown, Gareth Blayney, Keri Collins, and Virginia Head. He has also written music for adverts and worked with a nhumber of production companies including Cardinal, Fiction Factory and Mutton Jeff Producitons.
Inspired by the likes of Philip Glass, Yann Tiersen, as well as wide variety of jazz, blues, rock, classical and avant-garde, Dave has developed a deeply emotional, idiosyncratic, profoundly atmospheric and exciting approach to writing music for film that both connects with and enhances the visual image.

Mar 07 - South Wales Victim Support
I have recently had 'Images' taken from the DSQ debut album and a new DSQ track entitled 'Aquamarine' placed in 2 short films for the South Wales Victim Support. I will soon upload the videos - watch this space.
Oct 06 - The Outsider
My recent project 'The Outsider' produced by Rahil Patel recently won the audience award won the 'Best Welsh Short Film' at the Cardiff Film Festival 2006.
