I have just finished preparing scores and parts for an opera by saxophonist and composer Jason Yarde. The piece was scored for the following instrumentation:
Sop / Mezzo / Baritone / Horn / Flute / Clarinet / Violin / Trombone / Cello

Skillset Graduation Showcase | October 2007
The Outsider was screened at the Skillset Graduation Showcase 2007 last night.
The Outsider, produced by Rahil Patel and directed by Mark Holownia won 'The Best Welsh Short Film' at the Cardiff Film Festival which took place in November 2006 at Chapter Arts Centre.

Composer for Film / TV
Composer, pianist, performer, arranger and producer Dave Stapleton is a multi-talented and critically-acclaimed musician. He has composed and produced soundtracks for a number of short films for which 2 have been awarded with Best Sound and Best Short Film. As well as composing for film / TV Dave has released four critically acclaimed albums on his own label Red Eye Music with a variety of projects. His latest labum with his quintet, DSQ, called The House Always Wins was awarded a 4 star review in the Guardian and described as a 'real Uk Jazz revelation'.
